Accessibility Statement
Last updated: September 30, 2026
Bronx Executive Pearls Fund, Incorporated is committed to making www.bronxexecutivepearlsfundinc.org accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We review the site regularly and use visitor feedback and current accessibility guidelines to keep improving it.
What web accessibility is
Web accessibility means that every visitor can find information, learn about our programs, and support our work with the same ease. This includes people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, or other assistive technology.
How we have made this site accessible
Our site is built on Wix and designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. To support that goal, we have:
-
Reviewed the site with the Wix Accessibility Wizard and other testing tools and corrected the issues they identified
-
Set English as the site's primary language so assistive technology reads content correctly
-
Organized each page with a clear heading structure and a logical reading order
-
Made menus, buttons, and forms usable by keyboard
-
Labeled all form fields, including those on our Donate and Contact pages
-
Added alternative text to meaningful images
-
Used color and text combinations that meet WCAG contrast standards
-
Kept animation and motion effects to a minimum
Links to other websites and services
Our site links to some outside websites and services that we do not control, including social media platforms and third-party payment or ticketing services used for some of our events. These services have their own accessibility practices. If you have trouble donating, buying tickets, or accessing any information connected to our site, please contact our Webmaster, and we will help you complete your request.
Accessibility at our events
BEPF hosts workshops, scholarship events, and community programs across the Bronx, and we choose accessible locations whenever possible. If you need an accommodation to attend, such as a sign language interpreter, accessible seating, or large-print materials, please let us know at least 10 business days before the event, and we will do our best to arrange it.
Requests, issues, and suggestions
If you have trouble using any part of our site, need information in another format, or have suggestions for improvement, please contact our Webmaster at webmaster@bronxexecutivepearlsfundinc.org. We aim to respond within three [3] business days.
